This is a sequel to the original film in name only. I'm pretty sure that this is a Italian made seeing Vlyde Anderson is in the credits and by looking at some of the other goofy names. Troll 2 however I like more then the first one. this is not saying that it is better movie then the first, when actually it's quite the opposite. This is however one of those movies thats just like the first one was, it's so bad it's good, noly the first wasn't as bad as this one. the first thing that sticks out about the movie is that it is called Troll 2, but yet there is no trolls in the movie to be found, just goblins. that also brings up another point of badness in the movie, or just stupid it really is, is that the town the goblins live in is Nilbog, which is actually Goblin spelled backwards. What smart thinking on their behalf. So let me get to the story. A family is trading houses with another family from that particluar town for three weeks. What they don't know is that they are actually part of the Goblins plan to take over the world. there is also a subplot about their recently deceased Grandpa's spirit coming back to help them defeat the goblins. The goblin makup in this is awful, some of the masks they used are in multiple scenes keep getting used over and over again.this also has one of the most where did that come from confusing endings I can think of. be warned though, don't watch this movie if you hate the color green, cause throughout the movie there is green oozing and spewing everwhere, most of the movie revolves around this stuff, and have no clue what it is once so ever. Some kind of blood I think, but then again at the same time they eat is as well. I'll admit that i like this movie, and if you have very very bad and really cheesy taste in movies so will you, for you this one shouldn't be missed.
