The Howling: New Moon Rising Review

The Howling: New Moon Rising

Latest sequel, (and hopefully last, seeing it has been awhile since this has came out) is an absolute waste of film. The werewolf makes a 5 second appearance at the end as it jumps out a window and is shot. Everything else is just people, snarling noises, a roving camera that’s supposed to be the werewolves point of view, and more line dancing then you could ask for. This sequel has absolutely nothing to with horror, werewolf’s, and the other films in the series although it does feature a couple people from the other ones. I don’t even see how this could be made. I’m not even going to bother going over it cause in truth it’s so bad nothing really happens except for some line dancing. It’s made out to be a who’s the werewolf but it makes no sense at all and at the end you could care les. This makes so many stupid turns that it’s impossible the follow the whole storyline that’s supposed to exposed the villain. Then there’s something bout a biker reporter who comes to the town and is blamed for the murders when really he is there to doing an article for some paper or something stupid like that. How this became a Howling film I have no clue, non of the other ones ever came close to being this bad. No matter ho much of a fan you are don’t bother, there is nothing on display here except a bunch of Texan hippies sitting around a bar making bad jokes and then line dancing. I’m not kidding either, this movie might as well be set around the dancing. Not to mention the scene of a guy walking away farting that is there just for the heck of it, and the farts are so put on and fake it’s not even a bit funny.
