Alien Resurrection Review

Alien Resurrection

It seems nothing these days keeps a film studio from creating a sequel or sequels to film franchises. Not even the death of the lead character from the rest of the series, as seen here in the fourth movie Alien series titled Alien Resurrection. I say this because if you recall at the end of part 3, Ripley, played by Sigourey Weaver, commits suicide by jumping g into a tank of molten metal, because she know she has an alien life form growing inside of her. But not through the miracle of cloning they have been able to bring Ripley back to life with the Alien still inside her. Don’t ask me how they accomplished this but I seems the only reason they did this was for the alien specimen. Figures, they originally plan to kill Ripley soon after, but she recovers so well that they decide to. That’s a good thing because you guessed right, the alien species soon gets lose afterwards (all 12 of them that is). Arriving on the spacecraft right before all this happens is a group of soldier type people who have arrived with a shipment of bodies for the alien embryo to feed off of. Many thing unfold from there on out along with some twist and turns and new things added to the mix (such as the aliens now being able to swim). But with this fourth film in the series the Alien saga is still able to hold water and this is a set above part 3, which in all wasn’t that bad, but the fourth can’t be held up to the heights of the first two installments in the series. Alien fans should enjoy this for what it is and try no to looks for anything to deep on this movie. This is being followed with the Upcoming Alien Vs Predator movie.
