Another well made Edgar Allen Poe adaptation made by Rodger Corman. This is one of the lesser known Poe stories, but the full length movie adaptation does a lot of justice for the story. Vincent Price once again stars.
Actually sequel to the earlier movie Blood Feast, this is the second part the “Blood Trilogy” of the directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis. Really the films don’t have anything in common, except the heaps of blood they pile on. These are also known as some of the first gore/exploitation flicks ever made.
