A step away from most Martian films at the time, there is Martians in the film but no they don’t invade earth and we don’t actually see them during the film. We have established contact with them, once we figure out a method communication with hem they tell of their ways. There is many religious and political undertones to this film, making all the more moody and intelligent then first though.
This is not an lain movie. Which means no Alien invade anything. It’s actually a cold war drama /Sci-Fi. A group of 5 men sit in a bar as they hear the news that the US is being attacked by the communists. Each man goes off in his own direction to help fight the enemy. Not as serious of a film as it sounds, but it still tries to point out a lot of stuff and also show the perils of war.
