Probably one of the most popular and one of the best of 1950’s science fiction films, it tells the story of an alien named Klaatu who tells the people of earth that they must “settle geopolitical differences”. He is soon wounded by brute force and stops all machinery from running on the earth. It’s then a race to settle the conflict before the world is destroyed in Robert Wise’s scientific masterpiece.

Movie adaptation of John W. Campbell’s “Who Goes There?” this is personally one of my favorite Martian movies from the 50’s. The movie Itself it’s a very good movie, never a dull moment. It’s desolate Antarctica setting and the alien on the loose story work well hand in hand with the small band of U.S Air Force personal fighting to stay alive. This also was the groundwork for John carpenters The thing, which is a reworked remake of this film.

One of the last good Abbot and Costello horror spoofs before the novelty started to wear off. The duo is up to their signature slap-stick comedy only this time with The Invisible man in tow.
