The creates of the original King Kong teamed up to put a spin on another giant apoe tale. This ione was more fmaily freindly caompared to King Kong and is also viewed as a spoof by some of the movie. This however became no where as popular as Kong and didn't do to well in the end even though today it recieves more credit then it did.
With the resignation of the unviersal monster the last years of the 1940's were a very pur time for the genre. It was kepot going by the Abbott and Costello. This time it's a murder mystery with legend Boris Karloff, who doesn't portray any monster in the film, but a hypnotist.
