Surrounding the story of a severed hand which belonged to a pianist, it's more of a psychological horror piece rather then a firght fest of a starigh tof monster movie. Alot of elements in the movie are in fact imagined by Peter Lorre, who plays an old friend of the dead Pianist.
A young women is plagued by a family curse at night at the local park. It's a werewolf film only this time rather then a wolf man it's a wolf woman. Not to much came out of the film. An interesting note to this film is that it was banned in Finland in 1947.
