I Walked With A Zombie

Finally the zombie movies got the reconition they deserve with this RKO low budget picture. It's a loose adaption of Jane Eyre, which was written by Cyrt Siodmak and Ardel Wray. Also notable is that this is the first to feature the zombies on a tropical island which was used many times in furtue movie setings.

Phantom Of The Opera

This is actually the second movie version of the novel, this first one being filmed in 1925, which was a silent movie. It's on par with the first, only besides from the fatc that it's not a silent picture but also it's one of the few movies in the 1940's to be shot in Technicolor.

Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man

Universal matched up two of it's biggest stars in this clash of the two famous monsters whiched was dubbed as the Clash Of The Centurry. But in truth though the ending fight was a bit of a let down seeing the fight only lasts around two minutes and both creatures are wiped out by a natural force and not by each other.
