The Frankenstein series kep stumbling on with the fourth entry which sees the return of Bela Lugosi as Ygor from Son Of Frankenstien. Lon Chaney Jr took the reins as the monster. Just because it's the fourth movie in the series doesn't mean it doesn't hold up with the rest, this one is a couple steps above Son of Frankenstein.
The sequels raged on with yet another one this year. This time it was the Mummy's turn for a sequel, only two years after the last. This timeLon Chaney Jr. takes over the Mummy makeup from Tom Tyler who had played it in the previous movie. Also borrows footage from The Mummy's hand and footage of the angry villagers from Frankenstein.
