Trying to make lighting strike again like they did with Bride of Frankenstein this would end up being the last time Boris Karloff played the monster. This is also one of the last strong entire in the series, the first 3 being the best and then they alls started to go down hill after this one. This put an end of the horror films of the 1930’s, which are some of the most influential films ever made. Some of the greatest movie characters and the actors whom played them came out and made a name for themselves in these years.
Most people might be familiar with the phantom Creeps due to Rock singer Rob Zombie who often uses the robot with the snarling face in many of his videos and stage shows. It’s a case of an image without a name, I doubt many people know that whole thing came from this movie. As for the movie itself Bela Lugosi plans to take over the world using different over the top schemes to do so. It’s one of the more over the top movies of the time.
