One worth while of the year is The Invisible menace with Boris Karloff. It’s a whodunit/ sci-fi type movie involving a murder in which Boris character is blamed for and he must then find a way to prove the truth.
As with 1937, 1938 wasn’t much better for the genre. Along with topper the successful adaptation of A Christmas carol is included because of it’s involvement of a ghost.
